JC Smith Land Clearing & Tree Repurposing is a three-generation family owned and operated business. In 1992 Jeff and his father started clearing 25 acres of family owned land in Blacksburg, SC. Today, the land host three generations of Smiths and a hobby farm.
In addition to homesteading, three generations of Smith’s have served their country and community in the United States Army over the past fifty-four years. “We’re proud of our service and honor those who have served this country as well”, says Jeff. It is our pleasure to offer a 10% discount to anyone who can show us their DD-214.
Now retired veterans, Jeff and his sons carry on the family tradition of providing professional land clearing and tree repurposing services throughout York, Cherokee and Spartanburg counties. They work skillfully and efficiently to convert wooded, scrub and underbrush areas into usable crop growing & animal rearing farmland. With your vision and they’re know-how, the Smith family will walk you through the process of clearing and repurposing timber and show you how to avoid unforeseen complications and expenses.
Trees are the most economic resource for a land owner. The Smith’s have made a living specializing in clearing land and repurposing trees for startup and growing Hobby Farms for the past few years. Their knowledge of tree types will help you best utilize your timber. Cedar trees are prefect for fence post whereas pine is ideal for animal and equipment storage building such as coops, sheds and barns.
JC Smith and his sons are experienced and equipped to remove trees, stumps, brush & kudzu, stones and other obstacles. Additional land clearing services include land grading (leveling). Tree repurposing services consist of post hole digging & placement, mulching and firewood cutting. We will also remove, free of charge, any unwanted timber and dirt for your convenience. When you work with JC Smith you get decades of experience at a reasonable rate, guaranteed.
